My name is Celine Azoulay, I currently serve as the Senior Executive Director for the iZone at the NYC DOE. My expertise lies in growing educational leaders and designing innovative programs that meet the needs of today’s 21st century students by not only becoming digitally savvy citizens themselves, but also by creating environments in which their students will thrive. In my various roles as Lead Instructional Technology Specialist, Director of Technology and most currently Executive Director, iZone managing iLearnNYC and the DOE’s Remote Teaching Pilot, I have been responsible for supporting schools in moving toward ubiquitous computing environments that utilize online learning environments, partnerships with third party vendors/partners, building online learning communities, and establishing globally connected educators and students. Most recently I have been spearheading the DOE’s Remote Teaching Pilot in partnership with the UFT.
