"Born and raised in Bedford-Stuyvesant Brooklyn, Lorrie received an excellent education from NYC public schools and Medgar Evers College, CUNY. After holding both creative and administrative jobs in the private and public sector, she joined the team of Community School District 13 where she provides support and resources to parents, staff and the community to elevate student achievement. Lorrie is excited to support district initiatives to becoming an anti-racist district.
Mrs. Ayers-Hutchinson has served on the Executive Board of the Brooklyn Technical High School Parents Association, the Brownstoners of Bedford-Stuyvesant, Inc. and the Northeast District of the National Association of Negro Business and Professional Women's Clubs, Inc."
