Sophie is a rising senior at NYU Steinhardt majoring in Early Childhood Education and Early Childhood Special Education. She joined the DOE’s DIIT team through the Summer Youth Employment Program (SYEP) as a Summer Ed Tech Intern. She has a strong passion for supporting students through equitable education and has had experiences in teaching, developing educational and entrepreneurial ideas, drafting lesson plans, and analyzing curriculums. She is interested in learning how to better support students and educators through Ed Tech!
