Marley brings a depth of knowledge in ELL pedagogy and language acquisition to supporting teachers in creating accessible and engaging learning experiences for their ELLs. Prior to joining BrainPOP, Marley taught elementary ELLs for seven years in the NYC Department of Education and supported pre- and in-service teachers as an adjunct lecturer at Hunter College. Most recently, Marley provided professional development to teachers of ELLs on strategies and best practices. She's a long time BrainPOP power user and advocate, recommending it to hundreds of teachers supporting ELLs. She has a M.A. in TESOL from Hunter College.
