Joseph is an Assistive Technology Supervisor for the New York City Public Schools, Center for Assistive Technology. Joseph works closely with district leaders and school administrators on the provision of assistive technologies to access the curriculum. Joseph has been in the field of Assistive Technology for 20 years, and practicing pediatric and geriatric occupational therapy for 21 years. Joseph has assisted both children and adults receiving assistive technology to empower them to access their lives to their fullest. Joseph works closely with his team of AT professionals to build out capacity for AT evaluations in the NYCPS by taking part in Citywide professional development and aiding in Universal Design for Learning initiatives.
