Joel develops STEM outreach and coursework with an emphasis on Computer Science and the Maker Movement; Networks with industry professionals to gain insight into workforce trends to shape K-12 education; employs STEM teaching strategies such as design thinking, flipped classroom, and student autonomy; Works collaboratively to support and grow the efforts of other educators; Launched and maintains programs related to circuit building, coding electronics, Raspberry Pi and development boards, cyber security, 3D printing, laser cutting, CNC milling, and Python programming.
