Randy is a veteran leader in the NYC Public Schools having served as a teacher, assistant principal, and a 17 year journey as a Principal/Master Principal.  Contemporaneously with his time as a master principal, Randy led the workflow to reduce the ATR pool before taking on the position of Deputy Chief of Labor Policy throughout the pandemic.  Randy recently transitioned to the role of Deputy Chief Information Officer for School Planning, Modernization, and Partnerships at DIIT and is leading field engagement around new applications, school facing practices and protocols, and professional learning around educational technology.
