Matthew Blanar has over a decade of experience in higher education, most recently serving as the Director of Admission at Long Island University, Brooklyn . In his current role Matthew works with all areas of undergraduate and transfer admissions working to increase enrollment for the university.

Prior to his work in admissions Matthew has extensive experience working in the areas of student life, fraternity & sorority life, residence life, academic advisement and athletics. Matthew graduated from the University of Louisville with a Bachelor of Art in Graphic Design, completed his Master of Business Administration at LIU and is currently pursuing his Doctor of Education in Transformational Leadership.
