In her 16 years at the NYC DOE, AnnMarie has been a teacher and assistant principal at the HS for Environmental Studies, a literacy specialist and Deputy Executive Director in the Office of Curriculum, Instruction, and Professional Learning, and a Talent Manager for Labor Policy and Special Projects for school-based operations. Currently, she is Senior Advisor of School Planning, Modernization, and Partnerships at the Division of Instructional and Information Technology, focusing on research, stakeholder engagement, and professional learning. She is also a Ph.D. candidate in Curriculum & Instruction at St. John's University, researching teachers' experiences with bridging theory to practice.
