[AI] - AI Experience: Microsoft Copilot Prompt-a-thon

In this dynamic 45-minute session, educators and leaders will dive into the fundamentals of AI and prompt crafting in support of academics and instruction. Through guided practice with Microsoft Copilot, participants will learn essential prompting techniques to enhance their teaching practice. The session combines brief foundational knowledge with hands-on activities where educators will craft, test, and refine prompts specific to their grade level and content area. Working in small groups, participants will collaborate to develop practical prompts that address real classroom needs while receiving expert guidance from facilitators. Participants will leave with ready-to-use prompting strategies that can save time and enhance their instructional efficiency. Plus, Microsoft Copilot for Web is a tool available to all NYCPS staff that is safe to use and ERMA-approved.
