My name is Staci Balice, and I’ve been teaching in the New York City Public School System for 20 years. I began my career in intermediate school, teaching science and social studies. In 2003, I became the first Scantek teacher in Science at P.S. 58. In 2021, I transitioned to library/media instruction and began integrating digital media into my teaching. I was also appointed the school’s SPOC. In 2024, I received the NYC Tech Summit Award and later the FLAG Award for Teaching Excellence. My passion for education continues to drive my commitment to student success.
