Nadia Taylor has spent nearly 11 years with New York City Public Schools supporting equitable access to computer science education. She began her career as a 5th-grade teacher and later served as a K–5 Computer Science specialist in Brooklyn’s District 15. In her role on the CS4All team, Nadia has supported professional learning that has reached over 3,000 educators citywide and helps lead the Battle of the Boroughs Minecraft Education Challenge, engaging students across NYC in civic-focused problem solving. Her current work centers on integrating computer science into the NYC Reads curriculum through co-designing classroom-ready lesson extensions with teachers.
