Megan Kiefer is an educator, filmmaker, and the founder of Take Two Film Academy and the nonprofit Take Two Media Initiative, which partner with public schools to empower students as thoughtful, creative, and ethical media makers. For over a 16 years, Megan has worked with NYC public schools to design hands-on filmmaking residencies, Media Labs, and Media Ambassador programs that build media literacy, digital citizenship, and student leadership. Her work centers youth as peer educators, helping school communities develop healthier, more intentional relationships with media and technology. She is also the author of The Take Back: How We Can Reclaim Our Lives from Big Media & Tech.
