Shana started her education career as a math and science teacher in Oakland, California. She left sunny California in 2003 for the Big Apple. At NYCPS, Shana has been in various roles including- Instructional Coach, Innovation Coach and Deputy Executive Director leading school design work, Senior Advisor of Labor Policy, and currently, Executive Director of Virtual Learning Classrooms. In her free time, Shana loves yoga, healthy cooking (and eating!) and traveling.
