Gaming has long been recognized as a meaningful way of learning. Girls Who Game is a program that offers grade 4-8 girls, and other underserved groups, the opportunity to use digital games as a medium for learning. With a specific focus on developing a greater interest in STEAM and improved global competencies it provides students a chance to think critically and design solutions for current challenges. Hear from NYC educators who are empowering students with authentic STEM experiences and mentors while having fun along the way! Game on!!
