We’ll show you how Newsela’s five different reading levels, SEL content, Spanish texts, and diverse perspectives can propel your lesson planning and maximize your time with students everyday. You’ll also hear from NYC DOE educators about how they use Newsela to support their instructional priorities and the impact this had on their students. You’ll leave with concrete ideas and strategies for how to adopt these decisions in your classroom or school community for the upcoming year. This session is appropriate for educators who already familiar with Newsela and those who are new to Newsela.
