The New York State K12 Computer Science (CS) and Digital Fluency (DF) Learning Standards were adopted by the Board of Regents in December 2020, with the expectation that all schools will have fully implemented these standards by Fall 2024. This session will give teachers awareness of what the expectations of the standards are, what the timeline for implementation is, and how the standards are designed. It will also provide a look into the various tools that NYS put together to assist teachers with implementation and how the NYC's Computer Science Education team (CS4All) will also be supporting NYC as we get closer to the 2024 date.
