Prior to her position for the Computer Science for All initiative at the New York City Department of Education, Amy served as a classroom and technology teacher for 20 years. During her time as an educator, she helped teachers integrate technology into their curriculum, created multi-disciplinary project based learning units, facilitated professional development workshops on technology integration, wrote technology curriculum, and led parent outreach on digital literacy. Her expertise in educational technology and computer science has allowed her to design professional learning opportunities on educational technology and computer science programs. Amy holds a B.A. in Photography from St. Edward’s University and an M.S. from Touro College in Education and Special Education.
