Jo Ann Westhall is an Assistant Principal with over 20 years of experience in NYC Public Schools and a distinguished record in EdTech leadership. From Edtech Model teacher to NYS standards contributor and early CS4All Blueprint Fellow, she has championed equitable access to high-quality STEM education within her school and beyond.

Major Milestones:

• Launched a schoolwide Computer Science program with student tech leadership and hackathons, plus championed early adoption of Google Tools for Education.
• Selected as a CS4All Blueprint Fellow in 2016, contributing curriculum consultation for Computer Science education.
• As assistant principal, leads AI literacy initiatives and oversees a RESO A–funded hydroponics lab.
